The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are actually open and can close on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the subsequent criteria:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a home with a combined gross domestic earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 for each annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined family revenue will not exceed R600 000 per annum.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
Applicants are reminded to deliver the correct Id Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected of their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are finding out or plan to study at a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.

Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
